    LHDN opens STR 2027 and SARA 2027 applications

    The portal at bantuantunai.hasil.gov.my goes live 15 October 2026. Manual in-person applications have been open since 1 October.

    RM600–RM4,600total STR + SARA per household

    Total aid ranges from RM600 to RM4,600

    The amount depends on your category, income and number of children. eKasih households can reach the RM4,600 ceiling.

    You do not need to reapply if

    1. Got STR 2026 with no changes
    2. No new marriage, baby or address
    3. Your details are still current at LHDN

    STR 2026 recipients whose personal details have not changed are carried forward automatically by LHDN.

    The rule says

    First-time applicants, anyone with a life change, and recipients who have not updated for three consecutive years must still submit or update.

    Getting STR 2026 does not guarantee 2027 Three groups must still log in and apply or update, even if they received last year.

    Choose MyDigital ID or manual form

    Step 3

    Enter MyKad, income, address, bank account

    Add spouse, children, next-of-kin details

    Step 5

    Upload proof: marriage cert, birth certs

    Step 6

    Tick declaration, submit, save confirmation

    All on bantuantunai.hasil.gov.my. Have your MyKad and bank details ready before you start.

    1. Step 1Click Log Masuk, enter MyKad number
    2. Step 2Verify security phrase, enter password
    3. Step 3Click Kemas Kini Permohonan on left menu
    4. Step 4Update status, income, bank account

    • Download Borang BK-01 from the portal
    • Collect at LHDN branch, HASiL Satellite or UTC
    • Attach IC, marriage cert, children's birth certs
    • Keep the Akuan Penerimaan slip

    Manual applications have been open since 1 October 2026 at LHDN offices nationwide.

Do I need to reapply for STR 2027 if I got STR 2026?

No, if your personal details have not changed. LHDN carries you forward automatically. You only need to apply if you are a first-timer, have a life change, or have not updated for three consecutive years.

What is the maximum STR 2027 payout?

RM4,600 for an eKasih household with income of RM2,500 or below and five or more children (RM3,400 STR+SARA plus up to RM1,200 additional eKasih SARA).

Where do I apply for STR 2027?

Online at bantuantunai.hasil.gov.my from 15 October 2026, or in person at any LHDN branch, HASiL Satellite office, or UTC (manual opened 1 October 2026).
